Terms of Service

By accessing or using FURcast (“the app”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and members, whether or not you have an account.

To save breedings and run calculations beyond the free trial, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

New users receive three (3) free breeding calculations. Once your free calculations are used, you must become a member to continue running predictions. Unused free calculations do not carry over or accumulate.

FURcast offers a paid membership (“FURcast Unlimited”) that provides unlimited calculations. Membership is billed monthly through Stripe, our payment provider.

By starting a membership, you authorise us to charge the displayed recurring fee to your payment method until you cancel. Prices are shown in the app and may change; any change applies to future billing periods after notice.

You may cancel your membership at any time through the billing portal linked in Settings. Cancellation stops future charges at the end of your current billing period. You will keep access to membership features until that period ends.

We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these terms.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or saved breedings.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app’s servers or infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app’s code or content.
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the app’s services.

FURcast, its name, logo, design, genetics engine, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. The AI-generated phenotype images are produced for your personal, educational use.

Your saved breeding records remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and display them back to you through the app.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the genetic inputs you enter. We store your saved breedings as a convenience and do not guarantee their permanence. You may delete individual records or your entire account at any time.

We strive to keep FURcast available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

The app relies on third-party services including Stripe (payments) and our image-generation provider. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of these third parties, and their use is subject to their own terms and policies.

FURcast is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

You use the app at your own risk. We are not liable for any breeding, health, or financial decisions you make based on the app’s predictions.

FURcast is for fun and learning. Our coat-colour and trait predictions are estimates produced by a simplified genetic model. They are not guaranteed to be accurate and may differ from real-world outcomes.

The predictions and any generated images are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian or canine geneticist before making breeding, health, or welfare decisions.

We do not warrant that the genetics engine reflects every known locus, allele, or interaction, and the model may be updated or corrected over time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends immediately.

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
